The wind blowing his hair, this Estate’s vintner is always alert. Tall, blond, with Mediterranean blue eyes and tanned skin, his style illustrates his terroir.
At the heart of the vineyard, the summer heat gives maturity to the grapes and perfume to the scrubland. The rocky Mediterranean foothill preserves the vineyard from the wind; these vines testify to the domestication of a rustic and wild land, which the sea spray refreshes.

 

Geology
The Corbières display a wide variety of soils (schist, sandstone, limestone, marl…). The appellation divides into four specific zones and our vines flourish on the terroir of Corbières - Méditerranée.

 

Climate
Our terroir is endowed with a powerful Mediterranean influence, which also reflects in the scrubland vegetation. Furthermore, the nearby sea provides mildness and freshness to this land.

 

Varietals
Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Cinsault for red and rosé wines; Grenache blanc and Bourboulenc for the whites.

 

Winemaking
For the REDS, the whole bunches are put to ferment for ten to fifteen days (“fermentation traditionnelle égrappée”).
For the ROSÉS and the WHITES, direct pressing and thermoregulation.
Some wines mature in oak barrels.
